Arsenal took a huge step towards ending their 22-year wait for a Premier League title with a dramatic 2–0 win over Everton on Saturday, thanks to two late goals at the Emirates Stadium.

For most of the match, it seemed like the game was heading for a goalless draw, with both teams struggling to find a breakthrough. But in the 89th minute, substitute Viktor Gyökeres finally broke the deadlock, finishing off a dangerous cross to give Arsenal the lead.

As Everton pushed for an equaliser, Arsenal made sure of the points in stoppage time. Max Dowman, just 16 years old, sprinted from his own half and slotted the ball into an empty net to seal the win. In doing so, he made history as the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history at just 16 years and 73 days old.
